2021 Summer Travel Registration

Welcome to 2021 Travel Registration

This registration will allow you to complete contact information and sign up for participation in the 2021 Summer Travel Season.  Please note that players need to tryout out for a team.  Registration alone does not guarantee team placement.

Please READ ALL of the important information below regarding the 2021 Travel Season!


Please note that CI Grand Slammers follow COVID guidelines that have been put in place by the state and/or school district.  Please know that any dates listed below my be adjusted due to any changes in COVID guidelines.

 

 

 


Registration Fees

The registration Fee for the 2021 Season is $225.00.   

We will also be ordering NEW uniforms for the 2021 Season.

Uniform shirt:  $50.00
Black pant:  $30.00
Royal Sock: $6.00
Belt:  $4.00

 

Equipment

Due to COVID-19, each player will need to have their own batting helmet.  Please see below for options:


1) Player already has a batting helmet with face mask that can be used.


2) The Association will be offering the purchase of a new Rip-It helmet during registration.  These will be offered at a discounted price.   Size guidelines can be reviewed below.


3) Association owned RIP-IT helmets can be rented for the season for $25.00.  These helmets are in good condition and have been cleaned/sanitized.  Player will be responsible for the helmet and it must be returned at the end of the season.  This is on a first-come basis as we have limited helmets in each size.

The association will also be selling new Rip-It Fielder Face Masks at a discounted price.  Sizing guidlines can be found below and the purchase of one can be added to your registration.

TRYOUT PREP

We are hosting a TRYOUT PREP this year.  Players can attend this session to see what tryouts will be like.  Players will have the opportunity to run through all of the stations that will be at tryouts as many times as they would like.  

 

TRYOUT PREP:  Saturday, March 20th at Isanti Middle School Gym
Birth Year (2002-2007)  10:00 - 11:30am 
Birth Year (2008-2012)  11:30am - 1:00pm


As we get closer to the tryout prep date, a registration form will be sent out - as you will need to register online in order to attend the tryout prep.

TRYOUTS/EVALUATIONS

All players registering for travel fastpitch need to attend tryouts/evaluations.

TRYOUTS: Sunday, March 21st at Isanti Middle School

10U Birth Year (2010-2012):   

  • 1:00 -Opens for registration/uniform try on, warm-up
  • 2:00-3:00 pm - Evaluations

12U Birth Year (2008-2009):

  • 2:00pm - Opens for registration/uniform try on, warm-up
  • 3:00-4:00pm - Evaluations

14U Birth Year (2006-2007):

  • 3:00 pm -Opens for registration/uniform try on, warm-up
  • 4:00-5:00pm- Evaluations

16/18U Birth Year (2002-2005):

  • 4:00 pm -Opens for registration/uniform try on, warm-up
  • 5:00-6:00pm- Evaluations

 

TRY-OUT MAKE UP DATE:  Monday, March 22nd at Isanti Middle School Gym

*This is an opportunity for those that are unable to make it to Sunday tryouts and to allow for social distancing.  

6:00pm - open for registration, uniform tryon, warmups

Tryouts will range from 6:30 -9:00pm.  We will have exact times for age groups as we get closer to the date and know the number of people that will be attending.

 


VOLUNTEER/FUNDRAISER DEPOSIT

Traveling will need to submit a $200 check per family that will be held for the family fundraiser/volunteer deposit.

It is a requirement to attend the fundraiser.  Families will also be responsible for working at a minimum two volunteer hours.  these can be done at tournaments, field updates..etc.  It must be recorded that the volunteer hours are fulfilled.  

If both requirements are fulfilled, the check will be destroyed.  If neither requirement is fulfilled, the check will be cashed.

If only one requirement is fulfilled, $100 will be reimbursed.
